What is clear is that a school by this name existed and was founded in Indianaopolis in 1868, not 1869 (which was the year its first class graduated). However, there is not enough in-depth coverage to show that this institution passes notability criteria.

Indiana Medical College was a medical school founded in Indianapolis Indiana in 1869. It eventually merged. Clinics were held at the City Hospital.[1] In 1878 it merged with the College of Physicians and Surgeons to become Medical College of Indiana.[2]
It was preceded with Central Medical College[3] and Indiana Medical College (1844–1848) in La Porte, Indiana which moved to Charles, Illinois,[2] Rock, Illinois, and then Keokuk, Iowa.[4]

Indiana Medical College in Indianapolis was on North Senate Avenue and expanded to an adjacent property. Clinical studies were carried out at various of the city’s hospitals.[5]
After a dispute with the college, Samuel A. Elbert received an M.D. degree from the school in 1871.
After the merger of various medical schools to become the new Indiana Medical College, the School of Medicine of Purdue University, the alumni group of Central College of Physicians and Surgeons passed a resolution rejecting affiliation with the newly organized entity.[6]
