Indify (also known as Indify Music) is a global digital music company headquartered in France.

History[edit]

The first version of Indify was a business-to-business product targeted at labeling A&R departments, promising to discover safe musical bets that were about to break through.[1]

In 2020, American entrepreneur Alexis Ohanian came across Leah Kate single "Fuck Up the Friendship" on Indify and subsequently helped Kate connect with the digital marketing company Creed Media.[2] The aforementioned company promoted the song on the online video platform TikTok, where it went viral, and later on the social networking service Instagram. This success enabled her to release her debut album, "What Just Happened?" in 2021.

The company then shifted its focus to digital distribution, developing tools and services for the promotion and marketing of independent artists and labels.

As of 2024, the company's discography includes 4,500 labels and over forty thousand releases, providing a representation of young talents both in France and internationally.
