ICON has been hosted in various regions throughout the nation, fostering research that caters to this unique linguistic landscape from 2004,[9][10] and the 20th ICON will be held at Goa University, Goa, India from December 14-17, 2023.[11][12] the event encompassed panel discussions, paper presentations, and keynote lectures. Additionally, workshops and tutorials covered diverse topics, such as Multimodal Machine Learning in Low-resource Languages and Natural Language Processing and tutorials on Wikipedia and Wikidata for NLP and Shared Tasks.
