The International RH Series is a range of Class 8 Trucks produced by Navistar International for North America. Produced exclusively as a semitractor, the product range is focused towards local delivery and regional shipping.
Introduced in 2017, the name is an abbreviation of "Regional Haul," reflecting the intended usage of the vehicle.
The truck was debuted by Navistar at ExpoCam in Montreal and was the first truck to use International's then-new 12.4 liter A26 engine—with orders for the vehicle beginning the following month..[1].
Design[edit]
Wile the RH Series carried over some design elements from the ProStar 113-inch BBC and the TranStar 107 models, it was considered to be a novel design in International's lineup. One of the main changes from previous models was in the focus on making the truck lighter weight and was implemented through changes such as the use of cast aluminum fuel tank hangers[2]
Updates[edit]
In 2020, International released an update to the RH Series, claiming to increase fuel efficiency by utilizing technological advances, including developments like enhanced roof fairing[3]
