Intig is a Depressive suicidal black metal band formed by Jordan Jimenez (vocals), Ken Klejs (drums) and Andreas Rönnberg (guitar, vocals) in 2015.
History[edit]
Formation and first release (2015)[edit]
Inspired by Silencer (band) and Lifelover, Andreas Rönnberg, Ken and Jordan formed Intig around July of 2015. They would begin production of their first album, Empty; releasing the same year as the formation. This album would take a more rock approach, similar to the solo project of Andreas with some songs dipping into an ambient music area.
Dystymi to Utfryst (2016 - 2019)[edit]
They would release Dystymi the next year, refining and experimenting with their sound more, releasing the Extended Play Modfälld the year after before slowing down. During this time, they would sign to War Against Yourself and they would work on their most refined and Utfryst, with other vocalists coming in to feature on the album; like 1853 from Lifelover and Ravenlord from many bands. The album would release in 2019 with a Digipak physical release with it.
Current (2019 - Present)[edit]
In the Discord for the game Cry of Fear, Andreas shared clips of music from their new album Vilsen, Releasing in 2024. These clips showed a very experimental album with many approaches fused into one; in Andreas' words, 'This album is probably the longest and most varied album we have made' (Cry Of Fear Community Offical).
