From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lindwall Releasing is a therapy approach that has been founded by Dr. Isa Lindwall (1919-2007) who has travelled around the world to spread his work and help countless of people. Releasing reduces negative beliefs and self-images and helps process wounded emotions, destructive behaviours, and negative experiences of all kinds. This process gradually dissolves obstacles preventing people from looking forward and being open to new creative impulses and solutions.[1]

The roots of Releasing

The roots of Releasing can be traced back to Dr. Lindwall's chiropractic practice, where he noticed that unresolved emotional issues contributed to recurring physical problems in his patients. As he helped his patients work through these emotional issues, he witnessed not only the healing of physical ailments but also improvements in their overall well-being. Yolanda, wife of Isa, who was initially the office administrator, began organizing workshops and counselling sessions to reach more people seeking emotional and physical healing. In 1978, the Lindwalls decided to leave their practice to fully dedicate themselves to spreading the Releasing process to those in need.

Teaching Releasing around the world

For over 25 years, the Lindwalls traveled to various countries, conducting workshops and lectures. They worked in post-World War II and Cold War Europe, helping people heal from traumatic experiences. They expanded their efforts to countries like Russia after the fall of the Berlin Wall, and later extended their work to South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and various nations in South America. Teaching Releasing Around the World For more than 25 years, the Lindwalls gave lectures and conducted workshops in many different countries around the world. In the 1980s they began working in Germany and other countries in Europe, helping heal the traumatic aftermath of World War II and the Cold War. In the 1990s, Isa and Yolanda extended their work to other countries around the world, including nations emerging from Soviet political rule such as East Germany, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, Hungary and Romania. Following the attempted revolutionary counter-coup in the Soviet Union, the Lindwalls brought their programs to Russia and a Releasing workshop was held in Moscow on August 22, 1991 just two days after the coup ended. Following this event, Isa and Yolanda taught additional classes in Tver, St. Petersburg, Latvia and Lithuania. Since 1997 the Lindwalls made special efforts to work in the troubled nations of South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe, spending several months each year giving Releasing workshops and sessions. In 2001 they also extended their activities to South America, holding workshops in Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay and Brazil. Over more than three decades the Lindwalls have personally taken their work to 39 countries around the world, and those they have taught have carried it even further.

Releasing- What it is about

The Lindwall Releasing technique is not just about releasing negative beliefs and self-images; it also helps process wounded emotions, destructive behaviours, and negative experiences of all kinds. This process gradually dissolves obstacles preventing people from looking forward and being open to new creative impulses and solutions. Releasing, derived from the English word "release," means "letting go" or "liberation". Releasing has proven to be deeply healing and flexible, serving not only as a self-help tool but also being embraced by therapists and soul companions of various disciplines to restore order within the wide spectrum of psychological and soul-related backgrounds influencing a person's (detrimental) behaviour. According to Dr. Isa Lindwall, this approach is based on "an all-encompassing order underlying everything that exists". During his chiropractic practice in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, Dr. Lindwall observed that patients' symptoms would often return, regardless of treatments from conventional medicine or holistic natural healing. He thus devoted his life to the search for the deeper causes behind a person's illnesses, making it the center of his life and work. Releasing is based on the realization that "We are parts of a single universal consciousness. There is an all-encompassing order underlying everything that exists. This universal order can and must be deciphered, recognized, and followed if humanity wants to survive on planet Earth."

Death of the founders

Dr. Isa Lindwall passed away in 2007, leaving a profound impact on countless individuals he had helped worldwide. He was remembered and honoured in various gatherings and ceremonies. Yolanda Lindwall peacefully left her body on July 14, 2019, joining her late husband in spirit.

The legacy of the Lindwalls lives on through the continued practice and spread of Releasing, impacting people's lives across the globe.

The Kronauer Academy and the legacy of Releasing

The Kronauer Academy is committed to carrying forward the legacy of the Lindwalls, who always had a great interest in spreading Releasing as widely as possible, empowering people from all walks of life with a tool for a better life. Over time, Releasing has evolved into various forms, all stemming from the initial classic pair-releasing seminars (where one person actively releases while the other accompanies). These forms are part of the curriculum of the "Releasing Health Practitioner/Therapist" training offered at the "Kronauer Academy for New Therapeutic Professions". Additionally, Releasing is integrated with other methods, harnessing the full flexibility of this unique Releasing technique, without losing sight of the method's simplicity, even for self-help purposes. The founders of Releasing considered it essential to carry this work wherever people suffer mentally, spiritually, and physically. They made it a priority to remain humble about their work and avoid fostering a cult of personality around their pioneering efforts. The Kronauer Academy sees itself as a "Releasing House and Training Center" that regularly offers one-day seminar options in the context of therapeutic Releasing work by the natural healing practice of Charlotte C. Oeste. The manifold developmental forms and possibilities of Releasing have also given rise to numerous literary works, which the Kronauer Academy is pleased to provide extensive information about. The Sheema Medien Verlag, a "specialized publishing house for Releasing and more", led by publisher Cornelia S. Linder, was authorized and commissioned by the Lindwalls to build bridges in the spirit of a work that prepares the foundation for peace and hope in people's hearts.
