Jean Edwards and Jean Curtis Edwards should link here
Jean Curtis Edwards (May 18, 1929 – 2017) was an American farmer, teacher, principal, and state senator in Arkansas.[1] He served in the Arkansas Senate from 1991-2000. He served in the Air Force. He married Artemeze Redwood. They had two sons and two daughters.
Edwards was born in North Little Rock. While a child, his family moved to Sherrill, Arkansas, where he later lived. He graduated from Merrill High School in Pine Bluff.[2] His sister Josetta Wilkins succeeded her husband Henry Wilkins III in the Arkansas House of Representatives after he died. Edwards and Wilkins were the first brother and sister to serve simultaneously in Arkansas' legislature.[3]
Edwards was a member of many organizations including the NAACP. His nephew Henry Wilkins IV succeeded him in the Arkansas Senate.
