John Stites (October 9, 1850 – ?) was a business and civic leader in Kentucky who had a leading role in companies, religious organizations, and educational institutions.

He was born in Hopkinsville.[1] He married Mildred Ann Chenoweth in 1877.[2] He served as president and board chairman of Fidelity Trust Company and later as president of Louisville Trust Company. He was also on the boards of National Bank of Kentucky and Louisville Railway Company.[3]
