Born on November 29, 1974, in Canberra, Australia, Jonathan Pease was raised in Sydney. The youngest of four siblings, he completed his early education at Mosman Prep and Cranbrook School, before obtaining a Victorian Certificate of Education from Geelong Grammar School. Pease pursued marketing at Macleay College and later earned a Master of Business from The University of Sydney.

Starting his career at BBDO New York, Pease developed expertise in advertising and communications.[1] His role as Style Director and Judge on Foxtel’s "Australia's Next Top Model" for five seasons marked a notable phase in his career, highlighting his influence in the fashion industry. [2]

Pease is the owner of Oyster Media Group and publishes Oyster Magazine, a publication known for its coverage of fashion, news, and lifestyle, celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2024.[3] His journalistic endeavors include regular columns for the Sydney Morning Herald.

As an author, Pease penned "Winning the Room[4]," sharing insights from overcoming a speech disorder to becoming a sought-after public speaking coach.
