Early life[edit]

When he was 18, he moved to Los Angeles, California, and by his early 20s he had toured as a backup dancer for artists including Becky G and Justin Bieber.[2] While touring as a dancer, he was encouraged by Becky G to start a musical career.

Career[edit]

Ward released his first EP, A Peak At The Summit, in 2017.[1] He released his debut album, Valley Hopefuls, in 2019, which was produced by Arin Ray and producer No ID. [3] He subsequently signed with Interscope Records. Two years later he released his second EP, Remain Calm, which included the song “Lil Baby Crush.”[3]

His second LP, Forward, was released on 3 March 2023, which was produced by Lido.[2] The first recording session for the album resulted in the album’s first song, “311”, which was recorded on 11 March 2021.[4] In April of that year, he was the opening act for Smino for his Louphoria tour.[5] He also accompanied 6lack on his Since I Have A Lover tour[4] and started a European tour to support Forward.
