Draft:Joseph Flanner

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Joseph Flanner was a publisher of sheet music in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.[1] It had an office at 215 Grand Avenue.

He moved from New Orleans to Milwaukee in 1891. Flanner joined his business with Eric Hafsoos and formed Hafsoos and Flanner. It operated until 1994 on Broaway Street's Music Row.[2]

Recorded music eventually superceded the popularity of sheet music and player piano rolls.[3]

Flanners Home Entertainment continues family legacy.[4]
