Cincinnati's Lost Architects: Joseph and Bernard Steinkamp Frank Farmer Loomis has led tours of their works. According to Loomis, "Everywhere in Cincinnati their works still beautify the Queen City. Downtown has the Mercantile Library Building, the 21c Museum Hotel, and the Cincinnatian Hotel. Over the Rhine has the stand-out American Building. Their beautiful apartment buildings still grace Price Hill, Walnut Hills, and Hyde Park. Then there is Xavier University and the Chapel at St. Ursula Convent. So many of their buildings (thankfully) still exist and are now designated as restored landmarks."[3]

- Young Men's Mercantile Library Building (built 1902-1903) constructed for the Emery Estate and became property of the Fleischmann Estate (Steinkamp Bros. had offices in the building)[1] John Scudder Adkins Beaux-Arts drew the building and may have been its designer[1]
- Robertson Building at NWC Seventh and Race streets, office building constructed of reinforced concrete[1]
- Tudor Revival architecture buildings for Xavier University in Avondale/Evanston[1]
