He has an older sister.[3] His mother is a businesswoman survivor and activist, Agnes Kagga.[4][5] Jayson's father is a certified businessman , although he still maintains contact with Jayson.[6] Jayson attended Kampala Parents School in Kololo.[7] He finished Primary 7 from Kampala Parents School in 2021.[8][9] Jayson has spoken publicly about his experiences in therapy.[10] Career Jayson rose to fame when he started to post on the social media platform YouTube in March 2021.[9] His account, @kagga_30, has 300 followers and 8.9k likes, as of October 2023.[11] Jayson launched @kaggajayson, his YouTube channel, in August 2022.[9] His account has 202 subscribers, as of October 2023.[8] Jayson has 21 thousand followers on his Instagram account,[12] as of October 2023.[8] Jayson was signed to The KJJ Network on 8 August 2022. The company was founded by the Ugandan social media influencer Kagga Jayson Joseph on the same day.[8] He launched his podcast, The Kink With Jayson K, on 2 October 2023.[11] He tackles Gen Z problems from his "banged-up" Vauxhall Astra.[9] Personal life Jayson currently resides in Kampala, Uganda.[2] He worked at a camp in the United States during the summer of 2019.[9] Jayson was romantically linked to the fashion designer Shaggy Khan aka @mr.world.president_ between July 2022 and September 2023.[13] He identifies as queer.[6] He came out to his family in 2020,[9] and to his father in 2021.[6] Jayson’s sexuality was referenced with the lyrics "how can I be homophobic?
