Draft:Kasitien derby

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
  • Comment: Per WP:NRIVALRY, rivalries (which a derby is) are not inherently notable, and must instead satisfy WP:GNG. Of the sources cited here, once you take out the primary ones and passing/no mentions, you're only really left with the first two, but that's not quite enough.
Also, some of the content, and the corresponding sources, do not discuss the subject at all, eg. the last bullet point in the 'History' section.
It's also interesting to note (not that it's a notability requirement, but still) that even fi.wiki doesn't have an article on this subject.
If more/better sources can be found, I'm happy to take another look. DoubleGrazing (talk) 17:24, 9 December 2023 (UTC)

The Kasitien derby is a four-way ice hockey rivalry in Finland between the professional ice hockey clubs Vaasan Sport, Porin Ässät, Rauman Lukko and HC TPS Turku.[1][2][3] The rivalry gets its name from the Finnish national road 8 "Kasitie", which goes through all towns of the teams. The matches between Ässät and Lukko are considered Satakunta derbies instead of Kasitie derbies.[4]
