Kate Forbes is an American humanitarian and businesswoman, with more than four decades of experience volunteering in the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement. On 11 December 2023, she was elected.[1]as President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
Forbes is only the second woman [2]to serve as President of the IFRC, the largest humanitarian network in the world[3]
Honors and awards[edit]
She received the "Anchor of Hope" award[4] in 2014.
