Khodidan Bhimji Zula
Khodidan Zula was a leader of Indian National Congress party who served as Cabinet Minister of Gujarat Government for Road & Building, Revenue, Irrigation & Urban Development from 1980-1995. He was a member of Gujarat Legislative Assembly from Radhanpur constituency for 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th assembly from 1970-1995. He was known for KHAM theory along with close-aide Madhavsinh Solanki by which Congress came to power in Gujarat in 1980s.
He started his political career right from the grass root level of Indian democracy that is Gram Panchayat. He was elected as Sarpanch of Rozu Madhutra (a village in Santalpur Taluka of Banaskantha district). He later got elected as the member of Santalpur Taluka Panchayat in 1960 & became President of the Panchayat for 2 terms i:e 10 years.
EARLY LIFE
Khodidan Zula was born in a Charan Gadhvi family to farmer Bhimji Zula. He spent his early education days in Bhavnagar where he stayed at Charan Boarding & did his initial Graduation. He was also selected as a Customs Officer post his Graduation.
