Kid Furey was born Boitshoko Lesley Mothapo, in Johannesburg South Africa. He moved to the United States when he was 17 with his mother, with nothing but the clothes they brought and smiles on their faces, they started their journey to live the American dream. Lesley found that the way he could connect with people and also get to travel was with music. He started as a DJ for local shows and would often host underground shows and house parties.
Kid Furey is a talented DJ and musician in Salt Lake City, UT. He has been in the industry for seven years and has already made a name for himself with his exceptional performances. Kid Furey has performed at prestigious events such as the Sundance Film Festival, The Complex, Urban Lounge, Silent Disco, and Good Grammar. He plans to expand his career in New York City and Los Angeles throughout the remainder of the year. Kid Furey knows how to work a room and his performances will leave a lasting impression.
