Leader Fox is a Czech brand of bicycles manufactured by Bohemia Bike. The brand was founded in 1996. It was founded by entrepreneur Pavel Müller, who started as a bike repairman in 1988. After the Velvet Revolution he became an importer of bicycles from Taiwan and China and from 1993-1996 he was the official importer of the Taiwanese brand Trekking Fox. Due to disagreements with the Thai owner, who demanded a large investment in the racing team and brand image, Pavel Müller became independent in early 1996, founding Bohemia Bike and the Leader Fox brand. The bikes were then imported from China under this brand from 1996 to 2004 and from 2004 onwards only components were imported and the bikes were assembled in the Czech Republic at the factory in České Budějovice. In 2011, a whole new production area of almost 10 km2 was built there. In addition to the production halls, there are also offices, warehouses for parts and finished bikes, and a sample shop. The specification and production preparation process for the brand's models is also underway there. It is one of the largest Czech bicycle production plants.
Leader Fox manufactures mountain, cross and trekking bikes, children's bikes, adult tricycles and electric bikes. The brand is sold in the Czech Republic, but almost half of its production is exported to other European countries, primarily Slovakia, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Netherlands, Slovenia, France and Hungary. Leader Fox does not focus on sport racing, but on hobby riders, cycling and healthy lifestyle enthusiasts. Nevertheless, Leader Fox bikes are used by amateur racers in the MTB and XCM categories and there is an amateur racing Leader Fox MTB Team in Poland.
