Adegbola Oluwaseun Adeniyi (born March 14, 2005), better known by his stage name Lil Dreezy, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and sound engineer. He has released one EP and 9 songs. His top performing songs of 2023 "She Left" And "Cut Like Me" garnered 506,000[1] and 648,000 [2]views respectively on TikTok with thousands of users using his multiple sound templates.

Early Life[edit]

Adegbola Oluwaseun Adeniyi was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Still a child, he and his parents moved back to Nigeria, where they were situated. Throughout his childhood he always had a love and passion for melodic music. Him being an introvert, he used music as a means of expressing himself and his emotions. At the age of 15, he started writing music and a year later he learnt how to mix and master his music and other musicians' music. At the time he started posting his mixes on TikTok, where he began to build a following and network with other artists like BDN Betto and YoCo. Polo G, NoCap and Lil Durk are his biggest musical influences

Career[edit]

2020: Early Beginnings[edit]

Lil Dreezy began his career in 2020 while in high school with the release of songs like Run on me on September 5, 2020, Pain on September 12, 2020, Ice on September 24, 2020, following up with a remix of Ice on October 3, 2020, Loot on October 18, 2020, Mini Hundreds on November 4, 2020. He released these songs on only 3 platforms, Audiomack, Soundcloud and YouTube.

2021: The Hiatus[edit]

In June of 2021, Lil Dreezy released High School Days on Audiomack, Soundcloud and YouTube. He narrates the struggles of being an artist in high school. At times he got mocked, praised, but all in all he remained grounded and continued pursuing his music dreams. At this point he had WAEC exams coming up, which was when he took a break from music to focus on school.

2023- present: The Comeback[edit]

In June 2023, Lil Dreezy released his first studio single "She Left" which caught the attention of the public eyes, as it was used in over 5000[1] TikTok videos and amassed over 506,000[1] views on the platform. A mix of "Song Lyric Creators" and general TikTok users used this sound. It's music video has gotten over 19,000 views on Youtube and the song is featured in Indolirik's website, an Indonesian music content page where music in languages other than Indonesian are translated to their native language, Indonesian.

In September 2023, Lil Dreezy released "Cut Like Me" which amassed over 648,000 [2]views on TikTok and over 400,000 views on Instagram. Following that, he made a guest appearance on an EP called "When the Sun Goes Down" with fellow rapper, YoCo. The song titled Swervin.
