The article starts here vvvvv This is a list of grammatical tenses as they are used by various inflectional languages that have conjugation. This list will mark the tense, when it is used, an example of it, and then finally what language(s) the tense is used in.

Simple Past All-round tense for actions occurring in the past He walked English [1] (lesgo i found 1 citation), German, etc.
Imperfect Past Incomplete actions that started in the past, habitual actions He was walking (but has not stopped walking as of me saying this) Latin, French (probably)
