Loki (known as "The Loki Show", @lokidoestricks, and @loki.doestricks) is a famous social media cat with over 550,000 followers, and over 50 million likes across three social media platforms.[1] He is known as "The Most Chaotic Cat on the Internet."

Loki (born February 20th, 2022) is a tabby cat from Long Island, New York. He was adopted by his human parents (Danielle and Alex) from North Shore Animal League America at 9 weeks old. A few months after taking him home from the shelter, Danielle started a TikTok account to share Loki's big personality with cat lovers everywhere. He quickly began gaining followers by showing off his impressive ability to learn tricks at such a young age, and captured the hearts of viewers across the globe with his chaotic yet adorable antics. A few months after starting his TikTok account, Loki gained the attention of the media when a love story featuring him and a potato he found went viral in December 2022.[2][3]
In April 2023, PetSmart announced that out of over 23,000 applicants, Loki was hired as their first ever feline Chief Toy Tester[4]
Rise in popularity[edit]
While Loki goes viral for his endearing personality nearly every week, he is best known for being the cat who thinks he is a lion. After Loki’s mom purchased a lion mane for him, she learned that he not only loves wearing it, but he actually brings the mane to her every day so she will put it on him.[5] A video that shows Loki remove the mane from a cabinet and carry it to mom so she could help him put it on has has amassed over 52 million views on Instagram[6], and over 80 million views across all of social media.[7]
One of his most recent viral hits shows Loki being surprised after he is caught trying to sneak out of a kitchen cabinet holding a bag of Funyuns. With over 100 million views across social media and a feature on Good Morning America,[8] it has quickly become Loki's most popular video to date.[9] In addition to being popular for both his endearing and trouble-making videos, Loki is also known for his amazing ability to do tricks. He is seen in several videos giving high-fives to shoppers at his local PetSmart.[10][11]
When Loki is not running around with his lion mane, he can be found stealing bread from cabinets, causing trouble in various ways, practicing his tricks, and doing whatever he can to bring a smile to millions of viewers each day.
