Magnus Chase is a fictional character, the title character and narrator of Rick Riodan's Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard. He is also the cousin of Annabeth Chase.

Character[edit]
Magnus Chase is the 16 year old Norse demigod son of Frey and Natalie Chase, he currently resides in Valhalla after spending 2 years being homeless after the death of his Mother, during this time he become close friends with a dwarf and an elf who where posing as homeless guys called Blitzen and Hearthstone.
After dying and resurrecting in Valhalla he goes on several quest around the nine worlds where he helps to delay Ragnarök

Magnus' Mother Natalie never told Magnus much about his father and kept him away from his family for most of his life.
shortly before his death he reconnected with one of his uncles, Randolph. After his death he reconnected with his cousin Annabeth who he keeps in touch with.
Friends[edit]
His two best friends are Blitzen and Hearthstone who are a dwarf and elf respectively. Since residing in Valhalla he has made friends with Samirah, Thomas Jefferson Jr, Mallory Keen, Halfborn Gunderson and Alex Fierro. He is also very close with his sentient weapon named Jack.
Romantic Relationships[edit]
Towards the end of The Ship of the Dead, he and Alex begin dating after Magnus proclaims his love for her in a flyting with her father Loki.
