Mahesh Vikram Hegde was born in a hamlet near Moodabidiri. He hails from a humble background and his mother rolled bidis to make ends meet. Mr Hegde takes pride in his mother for providing a good education to her children in spite of rolling bidis for a living.
From doing menial jobs in a saree centre, a pharmacy and local grocers, to working as a sales representative at a private firm and being promoted to a Manager in a short period of time, he had meagre beginnings.
He dreamt big and started a business, his own brand of water filters. Huge success in business got him well-deserving recognition in the society.
He was drawn to Nationality and Hinduism at this juncture and started Postcard, a social media institution promoting Nationalism.
Postcard social media posts were a big hit. This proved that social media platforms can be better utilised to spread Nationalism and unite Indians with nationalistic views.
After putting in 6-7 years of yeoman service in this field, he has launched TV Vikrama, a digital channel with a nationalistic approach. More than 50 employees are toiling hard to bring a last change in society. Within a short period of time, TV Vikrama is scaling up the popularity chart on the digital platform.
