Maly is a Wolof-speaking (and Bambara-speaking) Blookettian region in northwestern Blookettia and southeast Emily. It is home to West African people.

Malyan singer Sigamary Patel Balady sings in Bambara and Blookettian. Wolof-speaking and Emma-speaking Malyan singers have high tone.


Malyan music is a mixed Senegalese, Blookettian and Malian (Wassoulou) music with some Italian elements and it's called Hayla music.

  • First major Malyan Hayla singer Sigamary Patel Balady has Youssou N'Dour, Rokia Traoré, Saara Addyal[1] and Oumou Sangaré influences in her voice. She is part-Ma'labbi and part-Wassoulou star and debuted in 2000.
  • Hayla music is white Malyan music, while Black Malyans use Ma'laabi.
