Marcus Neill is an Australian footballer who plays for Sunderland. He is the son of Australian former international Lucas Neill.^[1]

Career[edit]

Neill was in the youth academy at Blackburn Rovers as a striker before joining Liverpool in late 2018.^[2] He stayed on Merseyside until February 2024, when he signed for Sunderland.^[3]

Style of play[edit]

A forward player, he has been described as a good finisher with both feet.^[4]

Personal life[edit]

He is the son of Australian former international Lucas Neill.^[5]
