Massud Mossaheb (Persian: مسعود مصاحب) is an Austrian Iranian merchants.[1][2][3] He was also the head of an institution called "Iran-Austria Friendship Association" and as a consultant of a radiation therapy company, he went to Iran with a delegation in the field of cancer treatment, when he was arrested in 2017.[4][5] Mossaheb was accused of "spying for the German Security Organization" and sentenced to 10 years in prison.[6][7][8]

Mossaheb is a merchants and was also the head of an institution called "Iran-Austria Friendship Association" and as a consultant of a radiation therapy company, he went to Iran with a delegation in the field of cancer treatment, when he was arrested in 2017.[9][10] He was accused of "spying for the German Security Organization" and sentenced to 10 years in prison.[11][12][13]

Released[edit]

On May 26, 2023, The Islamic Republic of Iran released Musaheb in exchange for the release of Asadollah Asadi by Belgium.[14][15][16]
