Massud Mossaheb (Persian: مسعود مصاحب) is an Austrian Iranian merchants.^[1]^[2]^[3] He was also the head of an institution called "Iran-Austria Friendship Association" and as a consultant of a radiation therapy company, he went to Iran with a delegation in the field of cancer treatment, when he was arrested in 2017.^[4]^[5] Mossaheb was accused of "spying for the German Security Organization" and sentenced to 10 years in prison.^[6]^[7]^[8]

Mossaheb is a merchants and was also the head of an institution called "Iran-Austria Friendship Association" and as a consultant of a radiation therapy company, he went to Iran with a delegation in the field of cancer treatment, when he was arrested in 2017.^[9]^[10] He was accused of "spying for the German Security Organization" and sentenced to 10 years in prison.^[11]^[12]^[13]

Released[edit]

On May 26, 2023, The Islamic Republic of Iran released Musaheb in exchange for the release of Asadollah Asadi by Belgium.^[14]^[15]^[16]
