The McDonnell Douglas MD-90-10 was a proposed variant of the McDonnell Douglas MD-90 aircraft that was meant to be built by McDonnell Douglas. However, it was never built.[1]
Design[edit]
The McDonnell Douglas MD-90-10 was designed to be a shorter variant with the same length as the MD-87, carrying from 114 passengers in a three-class layout to 139 passengers in a high-density configuration.[1]
It was designed to have a maximum takeoff weight (MTOW) of 69.49 short tons (63,040 kilograms; 63,040,000 grams; 63.04 tonnes; 138,980 pounds) and a range of 2,410 nautical miles (2,770 miles; 4.46×109 millimetres; 176,000,000 inches; 446,000,000 centimetres; 4,460,000 metres; 4,460 kilometres) with fuel reserves.[1]
The MD-90-10's engine thrust would be 22,000 lbf (99 kN).[2]
