Michael Collier (producer)[edit]

Michael Christopher Collier (born August 22, 1965) is an American producer and director known for his work on shows such as Two and a Half Men and Mom.

Career[edit]

Collier began his career in the mailroom at Universal Studios before working his way up to assistant producer on Townies. Following his work on Townies he began work as an associate producer on Dharma and Greg[1] before getting his producer credit in Season 3 of the show. After Dharma and Greg wrapped in 2002, Collier was brought on as a producer for the show Two and a Half Men[2], before receiving his executive producer credit midway through the series. In the midst of his run as producer for both shows, he also produced pilot episodes of other shows under Chuck Lorre productions including Mike & Molly, The Big Bang Theory[3], and Mom, which he would later join to executive produce in the shows third season. After Mom wrapped in its eighth season, Collier was brought on produce the second season of B-Positive.[4]

For his work on Two and a Half Men Collier received three Emmy nominations.[5]

In 2022 Collier and his longtime friend and fellow producer Jonathan Stone co-launched Bungalow 32 Productions, with several projects currently in development.[6]

Collier currently resides in Los Angeles with his three children.
