Michael Patrick "Pat" O'Dea (1876–1965) was an Irish-Australian competitive cyclist, prospector and mine-manager known for his record-breaking trans-continental overland bicycle ride from Cue, Western Australia to Toora, Victoria in 1898, a distance of 3320 miles in 23 days.[1][2] In later years he was the manager of the Renison Bell Tin Mine on the Melba Flats, Tasmania.[3]
