Mitha Lak is a village located in Sargodha Tehsil, Sargodha District, Punjab, Pakistan. It is situated approximately 11 Km from the city of Sargodha, at an approximate elevation of 190 meters above sea level.

History:

The original settlers of Mithalak came from Shapur, a nearby village. The settlers moved to Mithalak due to a lack of water and grass in Shapur. Mithalak had a rain water pond, low height, and rich soil, which made it an ideal location for settlement.

The settlers of Mithalak brought their traditional skills and knowledge with them, and established the village as a center of agriculture, handicrafts, and learning.

As of 25-10-2023, the population of Mitha Lak is estimated to be 10000. The majority of the residents are Muslims.The primary language spoken in the village is Punjabi.
