Moe H Barakat, Candidate for U.S. Senate from Maryland in the 2024 election cycle[1], a seat that is currently filled by Senator Ben Cardin(D)[2] who announced he will retire at the end of his term and will not seek relection in 2024 Maryland U.S. Senate election[3]

Barakat is a businessman, and a Managing Director[4] for a US International Trade association, USQBC[5], he is also a consultant in business advocacy[6]

He has accelerated and advanced investment into the United States[7], He led several U.S. congressional[8] and official delegation Internationally or to U.S. States.[9]

He was recognized in 2022 in 40 under 40 influencers on the US-Middle East relations[10]
