The Moroccan Office of Information and Documentation (MOID) was founded in 1952, marking the inception of Morocco's enduring representation in New York. Its primary objective was to improve connections and amplify the voices of Moroccan nationalists and activists across the Western Hemisphere. Through the MOID, anti-colonial advocated initiated a robust lobbying effort, leveraging possibilities such as prolific letter-writing campaigns to influential newspaper editors.[1]
