Trouble Is My Business[1] was a 2018 Film noir detective film directed by Tom Konkle [1] starring Vernon Wells (actor) and Brittney Powell.[2] Set in the classic style of film noir, this modern interpretation pays homage to the Hardboiled detective genre of the 1940s and 1950s.[3] The film follows Roland Drake (played by Tom Konkle), a private investigator in 1940s Los Angeles, as he is hired to find a missing woman named Jennifer Montemar. [4][5]As Drake delves deeper into the case, he uncovers a complex web of intrigue, deceit, and dangerous characters.[6] Along the way, he encounters a femme fatale named Evelyn Montemar (Brittney Powell) and corrupt police officers lead by detective Barry Tate (Vernon Wells), adding to the film's noir atmosphere.[7][8]

Mollie Fitrzgerald[6] who had a small part as the maid in the movie was also a line producer in the film. Mollie Fitzgerald, who had worked on Captain America was charged with stabbing her mother to death. [7]. According to the Olathe Police Department, they had responded to an armed altercation on December 20, 2019. In Captain America, Fitzgerald[17] played Stark Girl and worked as an assistant to the director, Joe Johnston.[18]
