Mumbuca is a Brazilian village located in the municipality of Mateiros, in the state of Tocantins, in an area close to the TO-110 highway (stretch between Mateiros and São Félix do Tocantins). The community is made up of 165 residents, most of whom are descendants of slaves who left Bahia in 1909, seeking better living conditions.

The indigenous expression "mumbuca" refers to a type of blue bee very common in this region.
