Nathan Galante is a singer-songwriter born and raised in the heart of Tijuana, Baja California, in the neighborhood known as Las Sanchez, considered one of the most dangerous areas in the city. Despite early exposure to a life marked by drug activity and violence, Nathan chose to distance himself from that toxic environment, seeking refuge in music.
Throughout his career, Nathan has written over 1200 songs, displaying unwavering dedication despite challenges. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he left his refrigeration job due to asthma concerns and cleverly survived by selling corridos. Facing anxiety, he found solace in songwriting, composing at least one song every night. Each corrido sold for 10 thousand Mexican pesos, providing income during difficult times.
Collaborating with Horacio Palencia marked a significant milestone in Nathan's career. His first co-authorship showcased his talent as he respectfully suggested changes, earning appreciation from Horacio.
Edgar Barrera's recognition of Nathan's skill led to the composition of "Ojos Cerrados" and the subsequent recording of the song.
A planned one-month trip to Mazatlán, initially for music work with Horacio Palencia, transformed into a lucrative opportunity. With only 7 thousand pesos, the 18-hour road trip resulted in writing, producing, and earning money beyond Nathan's previous experiences.
In Mazatlán, Nathan not only found professional success but also his wife, solid friendships, and a new life. His music has achieved significant milestones, appearing on Billboard charts and receiving a Latin Grammys nomination for his first album, 'Una Copa Por Cada Reina.' 24th Annual Latin Grammy Awards
Currently immersed in producing original albums, Nathan aims to transcend and become a prominent figure in the regional Mexican genre, aspiring to leave a legacy akin to icons like Juan Gabriel and Marco Antonio Solís.
Determined to take regional Mexican music worldwide, Nathan Galante's conviction and dedication are evident in his desire to contribute significantly to the genre and evoke unique sensations through his music. His ultimate goal is to become one of the most influential singer-songwriters, leaving a lasting mark on the music industry.
