New Bridge Group or New Bridge Multi Academy Trust is an Academy Trust which promotes schools who have pupils with an EHCP.[1] it has 6 schools. The trust started out in 2014 after New Bridge School converted to a MAT to enable the sponsorship for a new school being built for children with autism called Hollinwood Academy. In 2016 Spring Brook Academy joined, The Springboard Project Free School was opened by the MAT & in 2018 The Hawthorns School joined the MAT.[2] The latest school to join the New Bridge Group is Samuel Laycock School in 2022 after receiving an Inadequate rating by Ofsted the year prior. [3]
