Nicolai Budkov Kjaer (born 2005) is a Norwegian tennis player.[1]
Career[edit]
Born in 2005, in April 2023 he was one of four players selected by the International Tennis Federation for their Grand Slam Player Development Program.[2]
In October 2022, he had won the Tennis Europe Masters U16 competition held in Monte Carlo, defeating William Vinciguerra in the final.[3] During the 2022 season he won four Junior Tour U16 titles and amassed a win/loss record of 30 wins and only 4 losses.[4]
Competing at the 2024 Australian Open – Boys' singles he reached further in the competition than any Norwegian in history when he reached the quarter-finals.[5]
He also reached the quarter-finals in the 2024 Australian Open – Boys' doubles with Czech partner Jan Kumstat.[6]

His father is called Alexander Kjaer.[7]
