The Nissan Sport Concept was a concept car that was unveiled at the 2005 New York International Auto Show.[1]

It followed the Nissan Actic and the Nissan AZEAL, as part of a series of concept study cars by Nissan, with a design focus of blending sports car visuals and affordability as one, tailoring towards young car enthusiasts. Like the Actic and AZEAL that preceded before it, the Sport Concept never went to production. The car was designed at Nissan's studio in Tochigi, Japan.[2]

On the concept's exterior, it was painted with a special pearl white finish, with carbon fiber trim for the front bumper lip, rear diffuser, and vents for the hood. It has Multi-layered lamps for the headlights and brakelights, wide fenders with a large vent on each side, located between the front wheels and side mirrors, a rear roof mounted spoiler, rear centered dual exhausts and 20-inch six-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels.

Aside from the aggressive styling, a lot of its body design largely resembles the Nissan C-Note concept car from 2003, alongside it's production counterpart that came a year later, the first generation Nissan Tiida and Versa hatchback models from 2004.

In the interior, consists of four seats wrapped in Wolf Gray leather and double-layered pearl suede, all equipped with 4-point seatbelts, with racing seat-style head and body restraints made for the front driver and passenger seats. On the driver's side, is a three-spoke steering wheel, followed by an integrated tachometer with gauges, a center cluster and a center console with the handbrake lever integrated into the console lid. Further in the back, includes support grips for the rear passengers, mounted onto the center console, and blue audio speakers applied to the rear parcel tray, as well as they're applied onto the door panels. The featured elements of the interior are surrounded by a dark colored trim.

The components seen on this concept, such as the racing seats, aluminum-alloy wheels and carbon trim would be considered expensive for a car aiming to be an affordable entry-level car, if it were to reach production. However, according to Alfonso Albaisa, who was the design director for Nissan Design America in San Diego at the time, stated that these sporty features can potentially be a set of optional parts to purchase for the base model, through Nissan's Performance Division, Nismo.

The Nissan Sport Concept was featured in the "Remix" version of the 2005 racing game, Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition, as part of additional content for the base game. Since then, it is its only official appearance in a video game.
