Wura Fadaka Band ("Wúrá Fàdákà" is a Yoruba phrase meaning Gold Silver) is a Yoruba Highlife band from Lagos Nigeria formed in 1976 and popular in the late eighties and mid nineties. The band was formerly led by Julius Adeniyi "Biddy" Wright who is the one originally known by the name Wúrá Fàdákà.

Biddy Wright teamed up with two other members namely Otan Ayegbaju (alias Big Joe) and Olusegun Ayanremi (alian Ayan).

Some of the band's top releases include "Eyo", "Lola Oluwa", "Sanmari Adugbo", "Area Chant" amongst others.

The band was recognised for its Lagos Island Àdúgbo (area) chant and rhythms, some of them vulgar and subtly promoting street violence and area rivalry, but popular among the different areas of Lagos Island namely; Isale Eko, Òkè Popo, Lafiaji, Isale Offin, Campos, Epetedo, Olowogbowo, Itafaji and the rest. Their music was also influenced by the Fanti and other carnivals popular at that time.

Wúrá Fàdákà band was an elderly men group that unexpectedly appealed to the youths.

Biddy Wright who was the leader of the group and the lead vocal died in November of 2000. It was said that he set himself ablaze, but according to family sources, Biddy was assassinated.

Wura Fadaka Band is now led by the former band leader Biddy Wright's son, George Gbolahan Wright.
