The Order of Merit of the Republic of Cyprus^[1] (Greek: Τάγμα Αξίας της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας) is the oldest order of merit and second highest award awarded by Cyprus.^[2] ^[3]^[4]It was established in 1960^[5] after Cypriot Independence. ^[6]
