Ororama Supercenters Inc. or simply known as simply Ororama, by locals, is a retail chain based in Cagayan de Oro. It originally started as a supermarket. But since the opening of rival shopping malls: Limketkai Center, and Gaisano City Mall (in which opened originally as 2 seperate malls: Gaisano Mall, and Gaisano City.), they expanded to start expanding for it to become a chain of shopping malls.

History[edit]

Ororama first started as a small store in Osmeña Street.[1] They later moved to the nearby J.R. Borja Street where they had more space. They later opened stores on Carmen, and Lapasan. The Lapasan branch was the biggest at it's time. In which included a supermarket, department store, various shops and restaurants, and 2 cinemas. But it was later caught on fire back in the 2000s. And the site is now a Puregold. but the warehouse next door is still owned by Ororama. The TLD (Total Lower Price) branch in Agora Terminal opened during this time. 2 of the 3 branches had been renovated. The main Cogon branch was expanded during the year 2017, and opened in the year 2019. As of 2024, the company is still operating to this day.
