Parham Eftekhari is an American business executive.[1][2][3] He currently serves as executive vice president at CyberRisk Alliance, where he oversees the development of programs and initiatives targeted at executives and community engagement.[4]
Early life and education[edit]
Eftekhari completed his Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Wisconsin–Madison's Grainger School of Business.[5] Later, he studied French and international business at Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP-EAP) in France.[5]
Career[edit]
Eftekhari co-founded the Government Technology Research Alliance (GTRA) and established CamPatch.com, a company specializing in webcam covers.[2][6]
In 2014, Eftekhari founded a cybersecurity think tank called the Institute for Critical Infrastructure Technology (ICIT).[7][8] He served as executive director of ICIT until April 2020 and now serves as the chairman.[9][10] His other roles include advisory positions at MazeBolt Technologies and the Ready Rock Institute.[11]
In 2017, Eftekhari received the Most Valuable Industry Partner - Government Information Security Leadership Award from (ISC), in recognition of his contributions to cybersecurity.[2]
In 2020, Eftekhari joined CyberRisk Alliance to lead the Cybersecurity Collaborative.[12]
