Polly Low is a professor of the Classical Greek world, belonging to the Department of Classics and Ancient History at Durham University. Prior to lecturing at Durham (starting in 2018), Low was part of the Department of Classics and Ancient History at the University of Manchester (joining in 2003). Directly following her graduation from her Cambridge PhD, Low was a W.H.D.Rouse Research Fellow in Classics at Christ's College, Cambridge. Her research interests focus upon Ancient Greek political history, Greek interstate relations, Greek historiography (particularly Thucydides), and epigraphy.[1]

Education[edit]

Low attended Manchester High school, then went on to attend Oxford for her undergraduate degree and Cambridge for her PhD.[2][1]
