Diabetes Research Unit[edit]

Pro. Katulanda oversees the Diabetes Research Unit,[4] at the University of Colombo, which he played a pivotal role in establishing in 2205. [5]

Sri Lanka Medical Association (SLMA) Oration (2009)[6]

  • The SLMA honoured Prof. Katulanda’s significant contributions to diabetes research with the prestigious SLMA oration in 2009.

Postgraduate Institute of Medicine (PGIM) Oration (2008)[7]

  • Prof. Katulanda received recognition from the PGIM with the PGIM oration in 2008 for his outstanding work in the field of medicine.
