Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY, translation: Prime Minister's Mudra Scheme) is a government-backed accident insurance scheme in India. It was formally launched by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 8 Apr 2015.[1]

  • This scheme is enable Financial institution to offer loans to non-corporate non-farm micro/small enterprises and individuals engaged income-generating businesses.
  • There are 3 kind of loans offers under this scheme:[2]

1. Shishu (up to Rs.50,000), 2. Kishore (Rs.s.50,001-Rs.5,00,000), 3. Tarun (Rs.5,00,001-Rs.10,00,000)
