Quasares Game Studio is a Brazilian developer,[1] located in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, and its most prominent and relevant game is Pedro of Brazil.[2][3][4] In 2023, the studio was present at the Brazil Game Show, where it presented for the first time its game Pedro of Brazil and its podcast simulator Talkcast Tycoon.[5][6]
Quasares Game Studio was founded in 2019 by a self-taught Brazilian developer and designer, Christopher Adrian. He opened the game studio within his technology company Quasares, with its headquarters in the city of Ribeirão Preto in the interior of São Paulo.
Initially, Quasares Game Studio worked with advergames for companies and politicians. In 2023, development began on its first original game for computers and consoles, Pedro of Brazil. The game was a highlight at the 2023 Brazil Game Show, where the studio was present with its projects.
At the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024, various media outlets began to report on Pedro of Brazil, highlighting its graphics and historical accuracy. With the release of a new trailer of the game's Pre-Alpha version, featuring a partnership with the Brazilian heavy metal band Armahda.[1]
In 2024, Quasares Game Studio announced the parallel development of a podcast simulator game project called Talkcast Tycoon.[1]

Pedro of Brazil[edit]
A historical game set in the Empire of Brazil from before 1822 until the military coup of 1889. Players can control various historical figures such as Maria Quitéria, André Rebouças, Pedro I of Brazil, Pedro II of Brazil and others. The media attention was drawn to the graphics from the Unreal Engine 5 and the historical care the studio is taking, hiring consultancy from various historians of the era.[1][7]
Talkcast Tycoon[edit]
A podcast simulator game announced in 2024, with not much information released, potentially having more content revealed at the Quasares You and Us event in the second half of the year.[1]
