Ramling Bet Bahe Ancient Shiva Temple[edit]

Ramling Bet Bahe ancient Shiva Temple is located near Sangli city in India. As per the historic stories, Lord Shri Rama, Sita, Laxman and Hanuman created this ancient Shiva Lingam on the banks of river Krishna after they were returning to Ayodhya after winning the historic battle in Sri Lanka. When they were worshipping lord Shiva, suddenly Krishna river started flooding and water level started increasing. Hanuman spread his large hands and separated the flow of river Krishna into two parts to create an island around the Shiva Lingam.
