The Rangas Muslim Cemetery (Malay: Tanah Perkuburan Orang-Orang Islam Rangas)[1] is a Muslim burial ground located in Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei Darussalam. The cemetery is also known as Rangas Besar Muslim Cemetery. The cemetery is located near the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital. The cemetery is situated near another cemetery, Rangas Damit Muslim Cemetery and Tambang Pehin Muslim Cemetery which is located near the Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas in Jalan Tutong, Bandar Seri Begawan.
Notable burials[edit]
- P'u-Zhong-Min (died: 1264), a Chinese official who fell ill and died.[2][3]
- Pehin Jawatan Dalam Seri Maharaja Dato Seri Utama Dr. Haji Awang Mohd Jamil Al- Sufri bin Begawan Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Seri Paduka Haji Awang Umar (died: 4 March 2021), historian and director of Brunei History Centre.[4]
