Ratan Kahar is an Indian musician and singer, in Baul tradition. He has travelled in many parts of West Bengal to present the Baul tradition. His most popular song is "Boro loker beti lo" which is used by popular punjabi rapper and singer Badshah in a song 'Genda phool'. Ratan Kahar recently won India's 4th highest civilian award Padma Shree for his life long contribution towards Indian and bengali culture.
