Rebekah Koffler is an author, commentator, and former government official. She was born and raised in the Soviet Union. She has warned about Russian efforts to destabilize the United States and about what she describes as dangerous underestimating of the threat. She was a U.S. government official at an intelligence agency.[1] She discussed Vladimir Putin's cyberwarfare attacks on the United States on Fox News.[2] She wrote Putin's Playbook: Russia's Secret Plan to Defeat America. In a 2021 editorial in the New York Post about the punishment of officers who criticize U.S. military leaders, she wrote that in December 2016 she was ousted from her position as a senior intelligence officer for Russian Doctrine & Strategy at the DIA for making persistent warnings about the threat from Russia which saw as being underestimated.[3]
